Canopy Framing Technology

Profile Shapers

Cam Battens
New for this year are leading edge Cam Battens, these ultra strong, ellipsoidal battens add precision to the shape of the leading edge curve, improving efficiency in flight and enhancing stability during depowered riding. Harmonized ARC
The new BEST WAROO 2007 benefits from BEST's new 'Harmonized Arc' canopy and LE shaping. Every kite in the range has a unique balance of control surface and lift surface, giving the optimum blend of performance and ease of use, whichever size of Waroo you choose to add to your quiver for 07.
One of the features that made the original WAROO 07 the most popular 'SLE' kite with riders of all abilities was its ease of use, for 07 we've taken that even further. We've simplified and reduced the leading edge bridle on the new Waroo for 07, we've added replaceable pulley line inserts to minimize maintenance and keep you running smoother for longer. The fixed rear line Y-bridle has been replaced with a new arrangement that continually varies and distributes load through the rear attachment points for the most accurate trimming and positive feedback at all depower angles.
Wingtip Panel Battens
Strategically placed wingtip battens increase turning response, improve aerodynamics by controlling air flow over the control surfaces and eliminate canopy flutter.
Load Flex Seam
New for 07 and out toughest construction to date. Triple stitched and webbing taped designed and tested to take maximum LE pressure.

Fluid Pocket Protection

Safety and Performance
The new WAROO bar is equipped with almost every safety feature possible. Multiple dual redundant systems are used throughout the bar, with riders having the choice, of punch through 'Maximum depower', fixed front line leash, multiple rear line 'oh-shit handles', as well as the usual chicken loop positioned bail out quick release.
With the New BEST WAROO bar your riding should be as a safe as possible, combined with the BEST WAROO 07 kite, we've simply not found a better or safer way to progress your riding whilst hooked into a kite.
Because the BEST WAROO doesn't use pulleys on the bar ends there's one less thing for the rider to worry about, turning feel is improved and the bar has a much lighter feel in your hands.
As we've stuck with the tried and tested trim strap for additional depowering duties, the bar set up will instantly feel familiar to all riders, with the same layout at the bar that you've always been used to.
A high-load stainless Ronstan swivel provides for tangle free rotations and loops, so whether you are heading towards that first back loop or ready to push hard for that Mobe 7, you have one less thing to worry about.
For riders pushing the trick envelope we've developed a new bar end pad set up to spare your thumbs from those fully laid out unhooked kiteloops, being radical never felt more comfortable or safe.
