Whiskey Royale

The Whiskey Royale construction offers a slightly tamer version of the Whiskey X power concept, utilizing reinforced energy plates beneath the toe and heel areas of the binding to allow for quick, easy turning and improved energy transmission. This innovation translates to remarkable edge hold on hardpack snow and challenging terrain.
Snowboard Construction

TruFlex Core

Similar technology as the ReFlex core but engineered for a smoother ride, with the core contributing more structural strength to the board. Each TruFlex core features a high strength-to-weight wood-construction ratio that is uniquely profiled to allow terrific response for all-around riding.

Sidecuts

We design our boards using three different sidecuts, each with its own performance goal. The three sidecuts have the same design basis in that each one, in conjunction with fl ex and torsional characteristics, is designed to create the ideal arc at the apex of the carve.

	Dual Transitional Sidecut
	This design incorporates a tight radius sidecut for maximum edge contact at the apex of the turn.

Kelvar

One of the strongest materials known to man,
100% Kevlar laminates are used in high-load areas of boards built for big air and high speeds. The material’s dampening properties smooth out the roughest terrain and make high-speed riding effortless.

CoFlex Cores

Fiber Orientation

Each Flow snowboard is targeted toward a different type of rider and is optimized for its own range of conditions. Fiberglass selection and orientation determine the primary structure of each board’s on-snow characteristics.

Quadrax (0/+30/-30/90)

The 0/+30/-30/90 orientation delivers unreal response by distributing binding pressure over a greater area, because the 30-degree axis fibers add extra torsional stiffness.

Edges

Flow's step-by-step ceramic fi nishing process delivers a microscopic polish to the glide surface. This is followed by a hand-detuning of every tip and tail for a no-catch ride. Finally, each edge receives an additional treatment for rust corrosion.

Structurn

The most advanced and durable base structure on the market, Structurn delivers the fastest base finish through strategically placed dimples that erase speed-robbing suction. The suction is made from the base heating up the snow and creating a boundary layer of water. The dimples are the most efficient way of breaking this boundary, similar to the way a golf ball’s texture gives it extra distance in the “fluid” air.

2000 Sintered Base

The high density base is the perfect platform for our Structurn fi nishing process which delivers an extremely fast ride.
