The 2007 Ozone Frenzy is the kite for all round freestyle and freeride action!! With half a decade of development the Frenzy still reigns as the top depower foil kite. The design specifications of the Frenzy have always been high with useable performance and a huge emphasis on safety. The winds on land and especially in the mountains demand excellent gust control and the ability to pull the safety trigger in an emergency and immediately spill off any power that the kite generates. The Ozone Frenzy has these capabilities!!!

Whether your prefer to go back country exploring or dp high powered freestyle moves, the 2007 Ozone Frenzy delivers smooth progressive power coupled with massive depower. This will enable you to have complete control of the kite and its power at all times. When you need power, all you have to do is just pull the bar in and the kite will harness more wind, resulting in the increase in pull feeling very smooth and, due to the light bar pressure, effortless.

The Ozone Frenzy creates huge amounts of pop and lift which are both essential to get height in jumps and create long hang times. Once airborne with the Frenzy the landings are smooth and gentle due to the paraglider pedigree design.

Safety for Ozone customers is paramountto them, so Ozone developed an instinct power kill switch built into the depower system. The bright red pull handle is easy to reach and easy to grab and will kill all of the power from the kite in an instant. If danger approaches simply pull the handle and the kite will safely stall out of the sky.

Quality: Ozone feel that design can be broken down into 3 sub-headings! 1/ Design: a quality design results in a kite that handles as well as possible, combined with the highest level of performance and safety. 2/ Materials: when Ozone choose materials they base their decision upon the fact that the materials used are the best available for the job. 3/ Production: all Ozone kites are manufactured in their own facility, giving them total control over every aspect of the manufacturing process. Each kite is fully inflated and inspected to certified paragliding standards before leaving our DHV-approved factory. 4/ Testing: every Ozone kite has undergone thousands of hours of development, from CAD design through to riding in extremes, at -40 0 C in Norway to the baking heat and sand blasts of Chile.
Mylar Edged: Aerodynamics tells us that the leading and trailing edges are the two most critical lines in an aerofoil section. Ozone kites are Mylar taped which gives a more rigid structure, a clean and efficient aerofoil, and absolutely zero stretching. The Mylar tape effectively locks the sail shape, meaning your kite keeps its factory trim.
Double stitched: Ozone kites are double-needle stitched. This is stronger and more durable than single line stitching in the event of the kite being dragged over rough ground. Even the thread used for stitching the lines and sail is UV-bonded which adds further strength and life-span to the kite. Every seam is checked to within 0.5 mm; a look at the colour-scheme accuracy and the inside of the seams of Ozone kites will highlight this fact.
Bridle Lines: Ozone's aim is to use the least amount of line possible, to minimise parasitic drag through the air. This results in a more performant kite. Ozone have established that the accuracy and diameter of the line lengths is vitally important. To achieve this accuracy, Ozone use the highest quality Dyneema lines which are stitch finished for extra strength and less drag. The �kook-proof� colour-coded and labelled line connection system makes setup safer and completely stress-free for riders new to kiting.
Lines: Tested to 100kg, Ozone�s heat-treated Edelrid Dyneema SK75 lines ensure stretch resistance, a high thermal tolerance and durability for all kites. Lines are cut, pre-stretched, sleeved and stitched to ensure 100% accuracy. The lines are final load tested to 60% of their breaking strain to �lock� the line and as a final production check.
Attachment Tabs: The attachment tabs on Ozone kites are sewn deep into the reinforcement area of the ribs. This means that the load is spread over a larger area of material and therefore reduces any stretching and ageing of the cloth.
